I have a story of a woman over 50 – her name is Beverly (Stull-DeJulio-Catlin) Kennedy. Yes – she’s been married three times. First to a man that had a gambling problem, so she divorced him even though she had 4 young children to raise. She became the “Fix-It-Lady” on Chicago’s local TV station and had her own show. Her second husband, developed Alzheimer’s and she nursed him at home for 10 years before he passed. Two years after that she reunited with her high school sweetheart (from a town of 400) and they married within the year. She lost her oldest son two years ago to brain cancer but continues to go strong and bright at 81 years young. She’s had quite the life and I admire her greatly.
