Thoroughly enjoyed this article! Love that Anne covers food history so well (fascinating!) and that she offers newer recipes adapted to our current-day way of eating. Her chocolate chip cookie cake looks divine!!

I love Anne Bryn’s cookbooks. I used to make her cakes for my family all the time. My favorite was the pound cake. I knew Anne from my days in the food business when as a PR person I would pitch food editors. She was such a great editor. Thanks for sharing this story.
